(no subject)
yuck, another monday. school really needs to be over now. i cant believe junior year is almost half way over, and we're already doing schedules for next year. i really cant believe we're all going to be graduating soon....its so weird. i dont know where i want to go to school yet, i guess it all depends on where i get in. im really hoping for UVA, but i dont know if thats going to happen. it would kind of help if i knew what i wanted to major in, like most people do, but o well....ill figure it out eventually. as Baz Luhrman said, "Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds still don’t." i kind of have it narrowed down at least, possibly something with the business end of the fashion industry, or journalism, or just business in general.
so i got some good/bad news from my parents yesterday....we're doing something we've all wanted to do for a long time, and thats go on a cruise with some of our really good friends from florida (mackenzie- remember stephen??). yeah which is awesome, except that we're not going until next year, and we're probably going the same week as my senior beach week. given the choice ill probably go on the cruise but i hope that i can go to beach week too, because a lot of times its your last chance to spend a lot of time with friends your not going to college with. but o well, i have a lot of time to decide.
ahhh exams are coming up. i have so much work to do this weekend. o well.
i hung up a moulin rouge poster in my room this weekend...its so cool, its a replica of the one of the toulouse lautrec posters from the 1800s. i love it, its doesnt match my room at all but i dont care. ive been in a really moulin rouge-y mood lately, watching the movie a lot and listening to the CD non stop. its def. one of my favorite movies of all time, i looooove it.
im glad everyone ive talked to had fun in new york. im jealous :) but i may **possibly** be going with alix sometime soon. im keeping my fingers crossed.
well im off to watch a cheerleading comp. at george mason, i love you all.
