Hello ARTFARMERS!
Attached is a lovely flyer for the upcoming auditions for this summer's Shakespeare in the Grove production of "The Taming of the Shrew". Please post it, pass it on or whatever you can do to help us expand the pool of serious actors from which we can draw.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, March 15, 11 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm. Auditioners should register for one of the two sessions, bring a resume and headshot, prepare a Shakespeare monologue, dress to move, and be prepared to stay for the entire three hour session. You must be at least 18 to audition and we are looking for actors with experience performing Shakespeare. The production is being directed by ARTFARM Ensemble Member Joni Weisfeld. Auditions will be held at Oddfellows Playhouse, 128 Washington Street in Middletown. For more info, or to register, call (860) 346-4390 or email info@art-farm.org.
ALSO, Marcella is teaching an exciting ACTING CLASS FOR ADULTS at Hartford Stage on Saturday, March 14, noon to 3 pm. Called "Ensemble Works", the class will focus on working as an ensemble to create and develop new material. Go to www.hartfordstage.org to register for that.
