I had a few friends either altering their journals to "everything is unsafe, flee kiddies!" or wondering if they should do the same. I found that (under OSX 10.4/Safari) I could not click-through these protected posts: there was something broken.
So I gave in and provided a birthdate. Well, birth year. 1896. I tried a couple of other years to determine what SQL variant they were running, but after removing three engines from the running list gave up. Besides, 1896 would work out with my attending Unseen University in 1912 anyway, which is fine by me. ;-)
the only mention of it on my friends list so far was one person joking about labeling his entire journal as "adult content" (though pretty much none of it is what one would call "explicit"). Of course he's a LAWYER so he would get it! As in the post immediately before (or maybe it was after) was "I am now qualified to practice law" :)
