[Jdramas] Summer 2013
The list of Summer 2013 Jdramas I'm watching:
1. Starman
[Spoiler (click to open)]I love this one! First time I've seen the lead actor, but he's cute! And pretty good so far. And of course Hirosue Ryoko is just adorable. And oooh a bit of mystery~
I suspect the guy is possessed by an alien or something. Seems like it anyway.
2. Pin to Kona
[Spoiler (click to open)]Tamamori Yuta reprises his role as Katsuragi Ren... just kidding! But really, his new role, Kawamura Kyonosuke, is like a slightly nicer Katsuragi Ren. Who's more honest about his feelings, maybe? But the role suits him! So far, I've only watched ep1 though, since it's 2hours long (>.>)
And Jesse Lewis and Matsumura Hokuto are in it! Though Hokuto pretty much faded into the background...but Jesse's role is pretty big in this one.
Kawashima Umika's grown up, but she's still super young in my eyes. Tama seems to be paired with younger girls in dramas...
3. Kamen Teacher
[Spoiler (click to open)]I'm supposed to be watching for Fujigaya Taisuke, but... Jesse Lewis is in this one too! Though his role isn't that big. I'm amazed that the kid is doing 2 dramas in one season! though it's been done by other people before. it amazes me every single time
Anyway, back to Kamen Teacher. It's like GTO (unsurprising since it's from the same mangaka) or Gokusen or all those other school dramas. Somewhat interesting but...hmm.
4. LIMIT
[Spoiler (click to open)]Interesting drama, but... I'm a bit annoyed with the characters. I get that they're supposed to be that way, but... well... the bullied girl who becomes the bully really really gets on my nerves.
5. Hanzawa Naoki
I'm still on ep1 but I heard it's good. BUT this also seems somewhat heavy. hmmm.
Might watch:
1. Summer Nude
(IF I can get over the fact that...well I don't really like Yamapi. but I like Karina and Toda Erika!)
2. Gekiryuu
Seems pretty dark, will ask around / see if it's worth watching.
3. Namonaki Doku
Seems pretty dark too. Hmm. Maybe I should finish Sho's drama from last season before starting these.
4. Tenma-san ga Yuku
Seems like a light drama. Will watch if I feel like it.
Not as many as last season (if I don't end up watching ALL of them), but hopefully it will be easier to keep updated!
Still sad that Itazura na Kiss ~Love in Tokyo~ is over though :(
