the perks of my job
today i had the honour of interviewing a cutie.
my presenter introduced me to him, saying that it will be good to interview him for our show. so i called and arranged for an interview.
turns out that he works in the Su*preme Court and it was my first time in there.
when i finally met him, i thought to myself, "hmm.. this guy is really cute!" and it helps too that he has an accent. New Zealander Chinese dude. so he has this hard to understand but cute accent and he is an Asian. i never quite understood the fascination over Caucasian dudes. We are Asia, support us man. I'm an Asian girl through and through.
so going back to my cutie, being brought up in a Western culture, it helps that when he speaks, it's charming and he is also very gentlemanly. Gentlemanly guys ALWAYS deserves extra points.
hold the door - extra points
offer to carry heavy loads - extra points
ask you to give them a call to make sure you are safe - extra points
drives you home if he has a car - extra points (car not a prerequisite)
but my heart is not beating at a rate that far exceeds my counting abilities. cos this guy is absolutely devoted to his girlfriend and that's extra points for the man!
so while i was reeling back my heart, he mentions, "my brother, who is coming, looks like me!"
instantly i started gearing myself up. ANOTHER ONE!
but that didn't turn out to be true. cos they both look rather different to me. maybe the small eyes but still different. one looked more japanese while the other, korean. but still, with their looks and built, they look like celebrities.
and while we were filming them, the whole setup just looked like 2 stars walking along the streets with a camera crew following them.
the guys were really nice, easy to talk to as well. found out that they are staying near my place. hmmm.. time for some stalking action...
