too much, too little?

I'm finally starting to get callbacks, one from the international finance people and the other from a weekend museum manager position. Which is great, but if I get both jobs what do I do about MEC? I want those benefits! Heck, will they even hire me when they find out that I want to go on a 3 week vacation in February?

Also this gives me the urge to go out and buy interview cloths. I have no monies, but working at MEC and doing archaeology has left me with little to no professional wardrobe. DOH!

My apartment still smells like bacon from 3 days ago. WTF.

You all need to go check out this site dedicated to helping people NOT take plastic shopping bags. It takes a little forethought, but when a plastic bag takes roughly 400 years to disintegrate, is used for 20 mins, and has a 40% chance of being properly recycled... well. Maybe you do recycle your plastic - that's great. But wouldn't it be greater to help reduce the demand for those plastic bags so that they're not as available to the litterers and recycle-phobes? There's some great cloth bags out there, and also some great little nylon ones that'll fold down into small pouches that fit into a purse. Just an idea.
