I'm thinking of making mix cds and titling them only by color. We have jewel cd cases in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I'm trying to figure out what music I associate with each color, because the purpose would be to sit in my car, associate my mood with a color and be able to choose a cd to capture my mood. I feel like it's not that difficult...
I think red and orange are awfully upbeat music
yellow belongs to things that are insightful, but not necessarily sad
blue is the sad stuff
purple has to belong to broadway music of any sort
and green is stuff that's just weird.
Music, sounds or emotions you associate with colors? Besides being blue when you're sad and perhaps green when your nauseous, there isn't much to guide. Are warm colors really associated with happiness? Green makes me the happiest, but I could just be weird.
