Last night, the uncle and auntie wanted to watch the Oscars so I caught it with them after we came back from house-hunting. I actually sat through over an hour of it! Frankly, I was just watching for the clothes lah. haha. But I'd missed the red carpet segment (assuming there was one... right?) so that was a bit d'uh. And considering I hadn't seen any of those movies, was kinda sian lah. Reese Witherspoon in real life seems as ditzy as her character in Legally Blonde (though from the short excerpt, she seemed to have acted well in Walk The Line) and Heath Ledger looks old and groggy in the unshaven look! And another thing to remember - if you look pale and skinny, and your hair is equally pale, do not don a pale, bland dress! o_O
I think zyf and Cheryl have very bad influences on me. I'm more inclined to criticize people's appearances now. But that's somewhat self-contradictory because I myself can't be bothered to pay attention to how I look, and they're probably thinking the same thing about me. heh.
Question: what is up with George Clooney? He is not the least bit good-looking (IMO), hasn't got much charisma to talk about either... but women, especially French women seem to go ga-ga over him. SHEESH!
As I was watching, I kept talking to Thomas and teaching him all the adjectives that come to my mind from the celebrities' manneris. Heh. I realized that what I find most fascinating about and remember most from my biology classes, are the names and how they came about. d=
I'm logging on from the Fishbowl Cafe Lounge. The mouse is awfully screwed. It's so hard to control, worse than my old ones. o_O Mustn't go online anymore later though. Really need to study for psyc quiz. Bleah.
Watched My Hero last night on Channel 8. Thought it'll be a comedy since Stephen Chow was in it but it wasn't that funny. But it was somewhat touching. Halfway through the movie, I started panicking that I'm gonna forget how to write in Chinese. I had to consciously think how to write the words! Gosh, that sure is scary. I can converse fine (since my sister and I usually communicate in Chinese) but I'm quite worried I'll forget how to write if I don't practise. *sigh*
