ponning school
I had a pretty odd dream last night. I was pon-ing (to play truant) school with Leon Yie and Wai Nagh. It was 8 in the morning, and we found ourselves walking back towards Somerset from the Orchard station. As we walked out of the station, Wai Nagh was asking to see Leon Yie's ring, and was promised to be allowed to when we reached our destination. Me, I was bummed cuz we could have gotten off at Somerset instead.
We got to a traffic junction, opposite Heeren, I think. There were two buses waiting at the red light, and I saw Mrs Sushilla (darn, is it a single 'l' or double?) on one of them! Never mind that there's something odd to her being on the bus in Orchard at 8am when school should have already started (actually, I still thought of school as at TJ), all I cared about then was to not get caught. Leon Yie and Wen Xun (I guess he replaced Wai Nagh in the dream) were quick enough to hide behind a tree, but there was no more room for me, so I ducked low and kept close to the first bus (Mrs. Sushilla was on the second one). When the light finally turned green and the buses left, I thought the worst was over - no such luck! I saw Chen laoshi (Chinese teacher in sec 4) coming up on another bus and had to repeat the whole ordeal again. If that wasn't enough, after that bus left, up came Ms Wong! I thought of going over to the other side of her bus so I'll be hidden from her, but she saw me! The thing about me (even in real life) is that once I get found out, I surrender completely instead of trying to complete the lie. I expected admonishment, but she was probably in too much of a hurry to get to school, that she only told me to find her as soon as possible to make up the tests I missed in ponning the whole of the previous week! x=
After she left, Cheryl and Amal (more change of characters) came out from behind the tree. I was so infuriated that they left me to deal with Ms wong on my own. Haha.
