As far as I'm concerned, 'whom' is a word that was invented to make everyone sound like a butler.
-Calvin Trillin, writer (1935- )
I love butlers (as I see on TV) because of how quaint they are. Friend of mine, Phyo, told me that he had a butler but given how gullible I am, he might have just been pulling my leg. o_O
I like the butler in Batman, Cadbury in Richie Rich and Martin in The Parent Trap. Nice, fun dudes haha.
I was talking to Ash about speaking quaint english, and I remember how Meow and Cheryl often had to play interpreter for me. There was once we were out shopping, and when the salesgirl asked if I wanted to try something on, she was baffled by my "yea that would be nice" reply so she had to ask me again! Cheryl quickly stepped in and said "yea, she wants to try". Then the other time I was at Tinkerbell, the salesgirl was asking if I wanted to try on the shoe. I said "yea, I think I might" which ended up in her chiding, "Don't think! Try it!" Gee. O_O
