All right, I changed my mind. Maybe I'll get myself a
Shakespearan poesy ring instead. This
elvish one from the
Crystal Realm is so LOTR. haha. d= The patterns on rings words french words engraved look nice, but since it's supposedly old french, i'm a little perturbed.
I think the first ring I had was this one my uncle had a long time ago (found it when cleaning out my grand's drawers). This silver thing that's a little dented cuz I kept dropping it haha.
Another site (
http://www.romanceher.com/PoesyJewelry.htm ) looks more promising.
C'est belle, non?
Hmm the village voice has a pretty comprehensive
article outlining the evolution of rings.
So it says "aman cara" is gaelic for "soul friend". Any takers, superstars? (=
Googling for the poesy rings turned up some wedding-related links and brought me to Digboards' thread on
wedding mania haha. All those talk bout dancing/not dancing reminded me of the ending (wedding of Albert and Allegra) for Hitched. o_O
J'aime bien cette blauge aussi!
Something to think about though. Why did they use the formal/polite "vous" instead of Tu/Toi? *blur*
