A quick drabble that was inspired by the musings on the site I mentioned in my last entry.

Inner Truth
When they found out about Him, when he had really begun to believe that there was an Other Him, he had been so scared.
But not scared of Him. The idea of getting rid of the Other Him, of the things the Other Him might have done… hardly occurred.
But he was terrified that his friends would run away.
They didn’t, and that made him happier than any game.
But sometimes he burns with the knowledge that, deep down, he’d rather stand upon a mountain of slaughtered victims, friends by his side, than sit in a clean, sanctified room alone.
