Here's yours, luv. Hope it's not too appauling... I really should be taking more time over these but I've got a MEGA fic to write and... grr.. At any rate, enjoy what you can of it and lease forgive any naming mistakes/Typos/other dyslexic phanominon.

Somebody has broken Gin Tang.
Corundum is familiar with breaking. It remembers when it was broken, all those seasons ago. Smashed by Tlaxti weapons and cast side. But it got better though. It morphed and survived and, ultimately, changed.
The Fleshed ones are so strange. Gin’s hand is shaking, her movements are more tentative but it’s her soul that shows it the most. She has returned home alive but not whole, not the same. There is something missing… or maybe something added?
Corundum cannot quite understand why. No one died, save perhaps some of Gin’s captors and that is good, surely? Why is Gin grieving or fearful when only her enemies died?
Corundum changed, all those seasons ago, because it lost friends. Lost possibilities; lost Jacleteca.
When someone dies then their possibility is lost. Their knowledge, their personality, the experiences that could have been shared; a thousand moments gone with the thrust of a spear. To grieve over death is understandable and to be changed by death, to learn from it, even more so. But to grieve over physical loss?
A lightly damaged eye, a few cuts, a little agony… what is that compared to the loss of all that moments that could have been? Why has Gin changed so much over so little? Why is her soul so broken when her form has suffered only minor damage?
Indeed why is Gin not rejoicing? To have seen as much as she has, to have discovered as much, to have, perhaps, touched the very essence of a God and been blessed by them, that she might return home alive? Corundum does not know the full story, and it will make further enquiries but surely Gin should be rejoicing!
Then again, Corunum is learning that Gin has a bad habit of refusing her blessings, casting away gifts that are hers to use.
Perhaps Gin is not as strong or as wise as Corunum once thought.
Most disappointing.
