Episode's math: Total (32 scenes) 0:40, Don (16) 0:21, Charlie (10) 0:16
This one time writers/director episode didn't work for me at all. And look at the numbers: less Don and Charlie time, and without Colby. I cannot begin to tell how bored I was without him in this episode. I didn't like the case either although it has a good premise. And even the episode visual didn't attract me. Take a look at the photos. Not bright and colorful like previous ones... So, I'm sorry 'cause this is not a review... only lots of pics!
But, but, but, I always love the family issues. Brothers together taking care of their father. And adorable end scene, even better in the bloppers!
I'll post all 370 caps sooner, at

The thing I always love about the show: death is never banal. They always looked concerned and sad. Don analyzing the guy's answers. And... pouting!
CalSci: brothers being brothers. The fight-for-food is hilarious. Don's punch line was the best "The icemaker's been dead for 3 days?"
And about Larry's invitation "This dinner have a color scheme?" Love the smile-while-eating-a-toast!
Nothing to say here except that Don is hot. Charlie with his Pi t-shirt! But didn't find the right way to talk to his Dad.
Pause to watch Don drinking coffee... The "married boss" Megan's commentaries sounded unprofessional...
Brothers looking to each other. Don "What did you say? 10,000 years?" That's another problem. 10,000 years is too much!
Chief Clearwater is played by Graham Greene who was Leonard Quinhagak in Northern Exposure with Rob Morrow. But they didn't have one scene together in this episode, and I really don't understand why.
Charlie worried about his Dad. Love Larry and Amita's advices.
Don totally hot here. I bet the Anthropologist (Kate Burton) agrees! "That's funny, he doesn't look Native American to me."
David only funny moment "He was a white guy?"
Don "No, it's more of a geographic thing. Apparently, race isn't really a factor." David "They need to circulate that memo."
Don knows Charlie. Always love that. But Don's just like Alan "I'll take care of it." And pouted again!
Don about Larry's ice cream "Man, I knew it would be interesting, but this is definitely out there." Love how Don and Charlie look at each other.
Typical hierarchy behavior in the family, Alan respects Don more than Charlie. "He was prying into something that he had no business being involved in."
Charlie's vision: fast food.
Charlie's so elegant here. "No, the math always works."
Don in gear and sunglasses. Can stay here all day... Don goes to talk to the guard but not to the Chief...?
They found the killer but not the skull... Charlie and Larry always great.
The family. Simply the best. Alan's way to apologize "Snapping at the two of you did matter to me. It would've mattered to her." Last pic from the bloopers!
All about
Numb3rs rewatch. I hope you enjoy!
