hi!
so not terribly much is going on. my parents visited a few weeks ago, and they got me in such a "fixer-upper" mood that i've been doing lots of the little tasks around the house to try to fix it up and make it feel more like home. i haven't gotten to any of the big jobs, yet, like painting, but i've done little things here and there like hanging things on the wall, putting up curtains, and so forth. it's made a big difference, but we still have a long ways to go. my dad and jeff hung up the speakers for our surround-sound while he was here, but now all the cords are hanging everywhere. i'm thinking of putting up some crown molding to hide the wires behind, but that will definitely be a bigger job than all the other stuff we've done so far. =)
ozzie and luna now have training lessons every tuesday night. we've gone to our first two sessions, and they seem to be learning pretty well. they're in class with a buncha labradors, which makes them look stellar in comparison, as labs never were the brightest of the bunch. ozzie and luna don't have any big behavioral problems, except for their newfound fondness for socks, but it's good for them to learn proper behavior while they're little so they never do develop any.
we don't have any plans for thanksgiving aside from staying home and relaxing. neither of us have really had a relaxing vacation in a long time, since the wedding and honeymoon were kinda stressful and busy, so it'll be really nice. i've never been that big into thanksgiving anyway, though i'll definitely miss my mom's cranberry sweet potatoes mmm.
other than that, we're up to the same-old, same-old. wow still consumes a lot of our time, as does watching movies, playing other video games, and sleeping in/reading books. life has been going on as normal. =)
