(no subject)
my weekend with jeff and his family was absolutely wonderful. they're all really nice and funny and treated me like another member of the family from the get-go, which was very comforting to me because i was meeting most of them for the first time and was a bit nervous about the whole thing. =)
we didn't do much on thursday. jeff flew in at 8am, and we drove up to fresno, met/visited with everyone, ate thanksgiving dinner, and went to bed early because it had been such a long day. on friday, we saw elf at the theatre, which i thought was kinda silly at the end, but a good holiday spirit film none-the-less. we also watched shrek and ate at teriyaki don's, a place jeff has been raving about for quite a while, and now that i've eaten there, i can easily see why. =) saturday, we watched payback, four weddings and a funeral, and ordered in pizza for a whole-family gathering, because a few of them hadn't been able to make it for thanksgiving. finally, sunday, we watched lotr: two towers extended edition, ate lunch with jeff's grandmother nancy, bought a little heater for my office at costco since my hands are always getting so cold and the heater i have doesn't do much, and ate dinner at teriyaki don's again one last time. =b today, we said our goodbyes, drove back to redondo beach, and, after a bit of snuggle time, i dropped him off at the airport. it was so hard to say goodbye to him this time, though it's only gonna be two weeks until i can see him again. =(((
so i had a great time, but now i'm sad because i miss him dreadfully.
