I dislike you
yet I need you.
You deprive me of the things I want to do
and those that I can do when I'm with you.
But then, you provide me with strength
and drown away the anxieties in your depth.
I constantly want to resist you
as you constantly pull me with you.
You are ever ready to indulge my escapades
and shelter me away from all the blades.
But still, I dislike you.
And so, forgiveness I demand from you
Because when the world deprives me of you,
I would always long for you.
And as I get you, you get me too.
This ironic mutuality we have will remain true.
So you, my peaceful slumber
Don't forsake this lively dreamer.
