o1. What did you do in 2020 that you'd never done before?
...Call the police. And the firefighters.

o2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I'm not even sure I made resolutions this year. And no I don't think I'll make anymore next year. What's the point at this point...

o3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister-in-law.

o4. Did anyone close to you die?
My favourite uncle.

o5. What countries did you visit?
None other than mine. I mean I went to England for my aunt's funeral but it doesn't count as a visit does it?

o6. What would you like to have in 2021 that you lacked in 2020?
A social life. Listen, when people-hating asocials start to feel lonely you know that this world is fucked up something big.

o7. What date from 2020 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
31st of October, that's when my neighbour's house caught fire and the yard started turning even worse.

Not dying? Honestly between the pandemic, the shit going on at work and the shit going on around me, at several points I just wanted to roll over and die and I'm surprised I didn't.

Happier. Considering only the very last days of december, when my mood can swing greatly month to month, day to day? coming back from a week of vacation with my close family sure beats entering a period of mourning and uncertainty.

This is a tough one. I have a bit more savings and I'm closer to owning my house... but at the same time, there's this terrible fear the house is losing its value, or I'm going to lose my house altogether and I'll be left with nothing, that didn't exist last year.
