Cypres of Tassili (Cupressus dupreziana) is able to reproduce via male apomixis. Means the plant clones itself (or himself, then?) by using only its pollen.
It happens in various female plants and animals (aka as parthenogenesis). But wow, for it to happen to male reproductive parts is a hard stretch on my mind. I'm not sure I can suspend my disbelief here.
