Justin was caught lying about skipping classes but at least he came clean quickly. This his mother handled while I was at work and they had settled things before i came home last night.

However, i did want to chat, to see what was on his mind. Groan...should have kept my mouth shut. We ended up in a heated discussion about what I felt his priorities should be, where is responsibilities lay. I expressed my concern that he wanted the freedom his single parent friends have...the freedom from responsibilies. When I asked him if he fekt a 17 year old young man should have no responsibilies, he danced around the subject until he finally admitted that no, they should have responsibilites.

Then, meet your responsibilities and THEN go enjoy yourself. Do NOT sacrifice your studies and this family for your friends.

I know I'm a real stiffy, always have been one not to show emotions, well except maybe anger (recalling the coffee I tossed at the windshield of a car that raced between the curb and the streetcar the other day)even when i was younger. Sure, I must have been worried about having friends when I was younger but at 17? I'll have to ask my family what iw as like at 17. LOL...probably will scare my pants off.
