Uncomfortably Numb
Once apon a time there was a boy...this boy was dating a girl. He really liked the girl even though she only gave him "side hugs". One day the girl said that she was going out of town for a while and the boy did not care. "Why don't I care?" the boy thought. Maybe it was because he had had a Sh*crap*y day. Maybe it was becase he couldn't see the girl he likes so very much the day she was leaving except for a few awkward moments at his mom and dad's house. Maybe it was because the boy's brain was numb and he could not feel any emotion that day except for rage. Whatever the reason, the boy now will get over it, and his brain (after the 7 hours of "required" sleep it "needs") will feel emotions again. Who knows. The boy thinks that this girl, whom he likes, was sad for some reason when she visited his house, but he will never know. He will ask her later, like A LOT later, when she gets back and she will say that "I was fine" because that is what the boy predicts. The boy is depressed right now and the boy really doesn't know why...."not really depressed" the boy thinks, "but more like Uncomfortably Numb".
