My trip home
Yep, it's been a long while. Mum's call last night reminded me that people actually read this blog so I'd better update. More pictures than words, OK? I went home for Dad's 60th (sans John, alas) and had an awesome time.
We ate A LOT, and even managed a weekend trip up to Malacca. We ate even more there and also visited the shop that Mum and Dad purchased the hand-painted textiles for me from.
Joy of joys - after a lip-smacking Hakka dinner, Mum found the address of an awesome home-based business store where the matriarch still supervises the making of various Nyonya kuehs.
An awesome time and all thanks to Mum, Dad, Flo and Serene. Thank you also to hposnm for organising the visit with Jen and dinner with the gals. apriltuna , I'll have to catch you next time!
