i have recurrent/chronic bacterial prostatitis. it sucks. it embodies all the negative feelings associated with anal intercourse without the good, experienced 24/7, medicated (for the second time) with cheap yet nauseating antibiotics, and i won't know what is REALLY is until my appointment with a urologist in one month. in other news i have an appointment with a urologist in one month...how exciting. for years i've wanted an excuse to see one. i'm wholly intrigued by a man who's medical specialty is a region of the body that i certainly find quite interesting. if it's a chick, i'm walking.
last night i went to the jazz festival with alex for his tweeëntwintigste (22ste) verjaardag. im not a big jazz fun, but free indoor concerts are entertaining both for obvious reasons and just for the shock value of it all.
i'm getting a landline (read: voip), and i'm going to be published in the phone book. i want to know if i can be excluded from french editions, but i'm afraid the white pages might just be bilingual anyway.
nicole's back. that's good. she lives further into the heart of le plateau mont royal than i do, and i plan on working in at least one joke about that daags/täglich.
i think after i get my student loan i might have to buy a standby ticket to nederland...questions/comments?

my mom came to visit last week. here's a picture of me, her, and the most inquisitive/energetic/panic attack-inducing 90 year jewish woman who might ever try to give you all the food in her freezer because you don't have a woman to cook for you (also known as my (half-)sister's grandmother):
