Okay, what's cooler; lasers and electrical discharges or conventional machining techniques? When your answer is "conventional machining" then that's probably a sign of being waaay to fond of the Advanced Machining module.

I don't like fluid flow and heat transfer, I'm not that keen on gears (I'm having some coursework-related problems with them) but machining I love.

I think that's good to know.
