WHAT THE CRAP YAY
This was GOING to be a journal about regionals, and how although we did not make it to states (we came in 3rd! Just one place away from going to states!), I'm still amazingly proud of my team and KNOW they will make it to states next year.
But then I got home and WHAT ON EARTH THERE WAS A BOX FROM KOREA! O__O
Does Fairyland normally ship this fast? Is this really normal, or did the gods of fate smile down upon me to send me this glorious cheer-me-up after just barely missing states in my last academic team regional competition of my high school career? I don't know what it is, but OH MY WORD SHE IS ADORABLE. >w<
There will be pictures up tonight, as soon as I figure out how to upload them not that the computer is being problematic for me. They are mildly crappy pictures. I really don't even care that they are. She's sooooo cuuuutee! I won't be able to work on her face-up until March or so when my spring break rolls around, but even face-up-less she is splendid. Hell, even bald and naked she was adorable, although I did order a wig and had a dress that works PERFECTLY, which stolen from a cheap Pullip Angel Dal ($5 at Five Below, plastic-y, mass-production Barbie quality plastic Dals. They're kind of cute, even if I am just buying them to steal their clothing. If Kelly clothing is too childish for you, try their outfits!).
AND they sent me the eye color I requested! She came with gorgeous light brown eyes that almost reflect copper-gold in good lighting.
I'm so pleased with Clio, she's even cuter than I had anticipated, and Pukis are SUCH a breeze to pose and play with! The only problem I have is it seems like her right wrist is a little stiff/got twisted up a bit, but it's easily fixed. And the faceplates are so easy to change out, yet are so secure!
