I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

Billy Batson is the woobiest woobie who ever woobed anonymous March 11 2012, 23:57:33 UTC
Don't believe me? Go watch the DC Superman/Shazam! showcase - I just got done watching it and it is the saddest thing ever. Basically, in that movie Billy loses his parents young, ends up in a home for troubled youth, is abused by his foster parents and ultimately kicked out on the streets to starve, all while being a model kid who always tries to do the right thing. Seriously. At one point all he has to eat is half a bag of chips and he gives it all to the hungry rats in his apartment.

Idk how closely his backstory in Young Justice corroborates to that one, but I want a fic of the Team finding out a bit about Billy's past and being completely taken aback by how much he's gone through, since he seems so upbeat and enthusiastic all the time. I don't care if he tells or if one them does some digging or what, just please make it happen anons? ;;

Besides, the name sounded familiar ( ... )
