I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

It's only a hairline fracture, seriously its not that bad. His mom makes a fuss all the same, Wally tells her it could have been much worse. His mom tells him that isn't nearly as reasuring as he thinks. The cast stays on for weeks, which to Wally feels like years. He isn't allowed on missions and he's not even allowed to train, and tricking Captain Marvel into doing things for him gets old fast. He wants to run again and his cast makes his leg itch and Wally wants the stupid thing off already! Everone tells him to be patient and wait, Wally hates waiting!

Artemis lands a lucky punch, thats it lucky. She manages to get Wall by right in the eye and he knows the second he feels igoing to bruise. It doesn't take long either Wally can see it just starting when he goes to bed and by the time he wakes up in the morning he has a shinyl
new bkack eye. Artemis is insufferable about it and no one will listen when he tells them she just got a lucky hit. He knows he'll never hear the end of it and he just wants his stupid eye to heal already so Artemis can shut up!

Okay so Wally totally gets where he went wrong that time. Running in impulsivy like that was a big no no. He knows that, he has officaly learned his lesson, he even has the broken wrist to prove it. So he really doesn't need Barry lecturing him like this about it. About all of the things that could have gone wrong, and the fact that you saved the little boy is not tbe point, and don't you get smart with me I know what we went in there to do. Honestly the first time Wally got this lecture he understood, he doesn't need to hear it four or five times a day. But everytime Barry sees his bandaged wrist he goes off all over again. Wally wills his wrist to heal faster but it doesn't listen.

Its only a few broken ribs his dad was completely over reacting. So a building collapsed on top of him, he was Kid Flash he was a hero things like that happened sometimes. Plus it was only a one story building so it really was not even that serious. Still his dad looked at him like he was half dead or something "You could have died!" "But I didn't!" Seriously banning him from going to Mount Justice or being Kid Flash until his ribs were all better was totally unfair! And it was going to take forever!

It kind of reminds me how Bart doesn't care/isn't worried about getting hurt and/or dying - but at least Bart knows that fact is concerning on it's own...
