Kaldur angst

Kaldur is in a relationship with another team member. Whether they're in the head-over-heels can't-be-apart making-everyone-else-in-the-room-gag beginning stages or if it's a deep, long-term commitment doesn't matter, but they're ridiculously attached and in love.

And then something goes seriously wrong on a mission and Kaldur's partner ends up trapped/fatally wounded/kidnapped by the villain/whatever, and in order to save the rest of the team and/or various civilians and/or the world, Kaldur has to give the order to leave his loved one to die.

I'll take anyone, but I'd really like to see Kaldur/Superboy for this. Bonus points if you can make it a threesome (especially with M'gann but again I'm not picky) and the third party is torn between punching Kaldur and crying on his shoulder.

BREAK MY HEART, ANONS. (Although I'm not opposed to happy endings)
