I think it is the younger audiences. Some of the more... avid arguers seem to be either trolls or plain immature.

The sad thing is, a lot of people seem to know how to use the big letters. I really, really wish they didn't. I can't avoid wank as easily when it takes up half the page...

Well, it seems calm now. It's actually the first meme I've run into with wank, and I've been around a few. Though, tbh, they weren't as well-known. But it's amazing how immature some people are on this meme.

BUT, I'm sticking around anyway because I am going to uncover every Kaldur prompt on here.

There's actually not that many good Kaldur prompts (he needs more love!). There's one about Tula and Garth trying to earn his affection, but it's not complete.

I've been on the Star Trek kink_meme. I've never seen wank of this magnitude on it before. I have to admit-- I'm impressed. The ST meme is easily the biggest meme out there. I think it's so kempt (ah, Robin) because, like you said, it's mainly older users on it. Of course there's been the random wankfest on it before too, but, like I said, nothing as... bad as this one's seeing.

What really gets me is the fact that there's a discussion post set up for this very reason. If you want to complain on the discussion post-- fine. Just... ugh, why does it need to be on the actual filling post?!

I occasionally go to the Gossip Girl kink meme & Narnia kink meme, the two biggest meme's I've been too. And I have to say, WHOA, I never expected wank. Just, wow. I can't even believe there would be wank, but it's reminding me of the Teen Titan Fics Era, where character bashing was almost a default.

This mod is seriously amazing, tbh. I would be deleting posts and foaming at the mouth.

I can't believe they can't bring it to the discussion post. It's beyond comprehensible why people can't be mature about this.

So, since there aren't many Kaldur prompts, expect spam. XD lol, sorry in advance. There needs to be more love for him. He's like the Cyborg of Teen Titans or something close. He's just underrated, yo.

I don't. However, mind this warning: some memes do. I've gotten chewed out for it before, and the anons get aggressive. This meme is, thankfully, optional.

TBH, I think I'd have quit at this point. I'd have changed the password to something I wouldn't remember and let everything span out from there. Kudos to the mod.

I love the discussion post. It's there to argue points out and squeal over things.

It's always felt to me like the older the target audience, the less wank. Like, the star trek meme was pretty chill - I think I remember their being some wank with the Uhura/Spock shippers and the Kirk/Spock shippers, but I never even ran into it, and everybody seemed to calm down to a "live and let live" level pretty fast.

It seems that way to me too. I suppose that proves how young the people here are.

Oh, the Uhura/Spock versus Kirk/Spock wank is always annoying. It comes in small bursts and settles down quickly. I don't even go to those certain parts of LJ and it floods over in other forums. But, again, it's gone pretty fast.

*shrugs* I tend to see it differently. I'm pretty active on a forum with an equal mix of young 'uns and older folks, and there's very little drama. Any that comes up gets cleared up in a couple of days, and it's really mellow and chill. Age has nothing to do with maturity, in my mind. People are just getting defensive, and that's causing far more wank than it should, really.

IDK, I'm pretty convinced it's because we have a younger peeps here, just because I remember the Teen Titan fandom (kids everywhere then).
