Certain things about moderating this meme make me uncomfortable. So far I've gotten by, and most of you are lovely, but it's gotten to a point on one particular issue where either this needs to stop happening or I don't think I'm going to be able to continue and keep my state of mind OK. I have been very conflicted on these anti-Wally and anti-Megan prompts lately. I love both characters, and hate seeing people using prompts to highlight a character in a bad light.

Although I don't totally agree with your opinion, I know there are issues for me that I just can't really handle personally so I can understand your need to make this clear otherwise it will effect you being a fair mod (and I applaud you for opening up and telling us about this so you can continue to be a fair mod)--especially since because of the snark back and forth on both sides of the issues don't seem to be ending anytime soon, so there would likely be an even greater influx of those types of prompts, rather than just occasional. I really do love this meme, and I hate the anger that keeps popping up back and forth recently. It really does just take away from the fun of it.

My only hope though, is that this decision doesn't lead to an influx of anti-Wally prompts (because it does at times feel like a battle on the meme, and while I feel this is a fair decision, I hope some people don't take it as a victory). I personally think you have been a very fair mod, and although I don't always personally agree with every choice you make, I do think you do go out of your way to try to be unbiased and respect everyone, and give everyone a fair chance. This whole situation has been difficult and awful, because it seemed to have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, and lead to a lot of shouting but not a lot of listening, and many people caught up in the crossfire. I respect you very much for keeping your cool and sticking with the meme throughout all of this chaos.

I just can't wait until the next new episode of Young Justice (however far off that might be... stupid scheduling), which I hope will make some of these issues die down a bit--if just because there will be something new to squee over instead.
