Prompt Post - Part Ten

I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm ( Read more... )

So I was so disappointed in Misplaced when we didn't see any Batman Robin hugging or even a pat on the shoulder. Of course I know they have to be strong and brooding but still it could have happened when no one was looking. But since we didn't get to see that we could just say it didn't.

Lets say that when Batman, Robin, Aquaman, Aqualad, and Flash were fighting those ice fortresses in Couldhearted, Batman gets hurt/tossed off the fortress. After Failsafe, then Misplaced I'd say that seeing his mentor/father get hurt without having proper closer would cause heavy panic in Robin.

So Robin goes into a berserk like state, fighting like a mad man ending the fortress. Its authors choice to have Batman calm Robin down right there on the battle field or wait till they get back to the cave. But a Batman Robin hug is sooooo needed! Just general Bat comfort is needed! Promises of never losing each other is needed! I don't care if the author sees them as father son or as a slash pairing.

Batman calling out to Robin in Romain (sp?) would be just the best!

I've read all the Misplaced follow ups with Batman and Robin I could find. Now someone please take it a step farther!

(It's Romani, btw. Not related to Romanian at all, either (although from what I've read, there are quite a lot of Roma in Romania). Roma are more commonly known as Gypsies, who speak a language called Romani. Although I think there are probably many, many dialects or subtle differences in culture, since Roma are nomadic and all over the place.)

I like this! <3 Seconding!

Ah sorry and thank you for the correction. I tried looking it up but all I could find was Romanian so I thought (Well hoped really) I had the right word.

Father-son bonding plus a Robin-breakdown/berserk episode is essential. Yes.
