I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.
If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm

The title fits perfectly with these two. Poor Barry, having to hide behind a facade and not being able to show his love for Wally the way he really wants to. He's being pulled in two ways; his love for Iris and his love for Wally. He figures that if he comes clean about the fact that he loves them both equally, then he'll lose both of them. I love the amount of emotional turmoil and angst you've added into your recent fills.
I see you used comic canon by killing Iris off. Stinking Eobard. I see you also made it vague as to how old Wally was when he and Barry met. Glad you did :) I found it very admirable how Barry stayed loyal to Iris's memory after she died. Yet, at the same time I can't help but feel sorry for him as he tries so hard to remain the perfect saint that he's portrayed as and remains miserable.
That last line...Oh god, my mind goes to Barry's reincarnation in the comics where he and Wally are closer to one another in age. That way they could be together since the separation by time isn't as strenuous. That and older!Wally and Barry would be totally hot together...Bad brain! Bad! And, aww, Wally's his destined one.
Another amazing fill, athallie :)

Both Iris and Wally are important to Barry. I don't think he would ever choose between them. He can't because he's bound to hurt the other.
Angst in my recent fills? *checks other works* Oh... I didn't notice that. Hopefully it isn't too much.
Yup. I followed the comic canon on this one.
Thanks, flashadmirer. =)

Which is why I can really only see Barry with Wally and Iris. Everyone else is inconsequiential in my book; none can compare to those two as Barry's lover.
There can never be too much angst in a story. I admittedly thrive on that type of writing.
:)
No, no, thank you for such a wonderful fill.
