I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.
If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm

Vast plains spread around him like an ocean. Grass swayed in the wind, tickling his bare feet. The earth was warm, his toes wiggling in the soft soil.
There was nothing that could hinder his movements for miles to see. Everything around him was flat, unending, and free. Above him, the clear blue was untouched by white. A gentle but pleasant breeze ruffled his hair, the warmth of the sun caressing his face. Wally stood still, his eyes closed, simply feeling the empty space surrounding him, the emptiness, the lack of barriers.
It was perfect.
Until he dared to reach out, trying to feel the breeze play through his finger, to reassure himself that nothing would stop him… only to touch hard, cold, unforgiving concrete.
The illusion was shattered.
Wally came back to his senses with a gasp, eyes opening wide full of panic. The warmth he had felt on his face replaced by a piercing cold, the soft soil beneath his bare foots twisted to become grime, mixed his the blood that dripped from his cut legs and feet, the sky he pictured so bright and calm had morphed into a darkness so thick, light had little hope of ever existing.
But what made him whimper, bringing his arms around his legs, ignoring the pain the movement caused, were the walls that surrounded him, keeping him from running, from moving, from living.
The young speedster had been locked in a closet, a very… small closet. His back was against the far back, if he stretched his leg a bit it would hit the door -he couldn’t even unbend it from its position- and all it took was to raise his elbows to the sides before they met the rest of the constraining walls.
It was his personal hell.
Kid Flash bit back another whimper, trying to take himself back into the heaven his mind had created earlier. Uncle Barry had taught him how to concentrate on that image, to create a place he could escape to when things got too rough. For Kid, that place was a world that had no limits, no structures -manmade or natural- that would act as a wall, where he could run and run and never encounter an obstacle.
A speedster always had to be in movement, whether it was the impatient tapping of their foot, pacing, tapping their fingers on any surface, or outright squirming.
Imprisonment was the worst punishment that could be dealt to them, the biggest torture, both physical and mental.
Wally tried not to think about it, concentrating on calming his breathing.
"I don't want to be here." He moaned into his knees, starting to rock back and forth. "I don't want to be here."
The walls were silent, looming over him mockingly.
‘You'll never get out.’ They sneered.
"Please, get me out." He begged, words muffled.
'No one can hear you. No one cares. No one but us.' The walls' embrace seemed to tighten around him in a twisted version of a comforting gesture. 'We'll take care of you.'
"GET ME OUT!" He screamed out of desperation, using his good arm to bang on the walls.
An echo resounded, bouncing off different objects trying to escape, until finally... it was caught.

Argh guys I don't know how to add italics here! AND IT NEED MY ITALICS! TT FYI, everything that is 'dialogue' here is Supey remembering so they should be in italics. *pouts*

Wally’s voice was the first thing Conner heard when he, Robin and Aqualad rescued him from Cadmus, right after he attacked his saviors.
“Hold on Supey!”
The first to come to his defense even after being the one to put him in that pod.
“Hey! How come he gets to call Supey an it?”
Wally had never treated him like a thing, had been offended by the implications that he had.
“It’s not like I said ‘it’”
The first to offer reassurance.
“Don’t know, but it does look like you can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Still cool.”
And that smile. That smile that was full of concern for others, full of innocence and an undying flare of cheerfulness. Superboy never wanted to see that smile falter.
Even in the face of his angered mentor, in front of the League, of Batman, Wally had defended him again.
“He doesn’t like being called an it.”
But what had- as Wally would say - taken the cake, had been when they had defeated Desmond, and left Cadmus.
“See? The moon!”
His first promise.
“I’m pretty sure it’s after midnight, but we can show you the moon!”
And he had, less than an hour later, Kid Flash, who he later knew as Wally, had given him the moon.
All Superboy had to offer in return, was an apology for having hurt them.
For having hurt him.
The first person his fist knocked unconscious, the first he had thrown into the pod.
It was shortly after Black Canary started training them that he realized not all beings had his strength, or invulnerability. He’d been angry at the blonde for slamming his friends to the ground over and over again mercilessly. In the upcoming missions, he realized how easily they could get hurt and... killed.
Finally, he had something to offer.
Protection.
“They took Wally!”
And he had failed.

Also, Connor and his firsts. Never fails to distribute the feels liberally. 'specially with the whole "he promised the moon" thing cause Wally didn't even think anything of it and it was such a big moment to Connor and now Wally's stuck in a Closet and Doom and CRYING NOW.
