I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.
If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm

She turned eagerly, even got up from her chair. ″Do you have the results from the Young Justice project?″ She said, her whole being radiating excitement. She had put together the entire project, overseen everything, and she could hardly believe it was due to end - or start, depending on your point of view - soon. It would be revolutionary. She could feel it in her bones.
The intern hesitated for a split second. He'd been there for the entire project too, and he, too had had high hopes. He hated to crush hers.
″Dr. Schmidt, it's terrible. The subjects, they actually believe that they're superheroes! It's very interesting from a psychological standpoint, and of course we will have to study this more, but the fact is we've got nine teenagers in this hospital completely convinced that they had powers, and somehow we've stolen them. They're panicking.″
Dr Schmidt didn't quite know how to react. She sank back down, eyes burning with curiosity, empathy, disappointment. ″Can you get them to calm down?″ She asked, voice distracted, already calculating the collateral damage of this unexpected result.
″Yes, but...″ The intern hesitated, clearly torn.
″Yes?″ Dr. Schmidt said.
″After we study them, what then? Dr. Schmidt, they are utterly convinced. They know each other inside and out. How are they going to fit into the normal world again?″
Dr. Schmidt considered this carefully. ″Well.″ She said, voice guarded. ″What do you suggest?″
″After this is over, I think I can make them forget. I just need to make a slight changes to the set up we've already established. And they'd have to consent, of course. But I think they will. Wouldn't you?″
Dr. Schmidt thought about this proposition, then nodded sharply. ″Very well. If you can get them to agree, I will capitulate. The situation as you've described it will not stand.″

Kaldur shut his eyes.
Everything in this world was wrong.
He had gotten over the initial panic. They had all banded together and were threatening to attack, but when Robins' - Dicks' - parents had arrived, whole and alive and most assuredly real, no one could deny it any longer.
Their whole world was a lie.
Dimly, Kaldur could feel the shape of his life before. He did not really remember it. None of the team did. But it was the truth. This was the real world. It seemed impossibly normal.
They had not wanted to forget, at first. They had all discussed it for hours.
Their mentors - and they were not their mentors now, simply people they happened to know - had convinced them.
There seemed to be little point in remembering when no one else but the team did. They would lose their families - for many of them, it would be the second time.
And they could not have that.
So they had decided to forget together.
Kaldur took a deep breath and stepped forward.
He would be the first.

This is like harry waking up after the final battle and finding himself in the cupboard under the stairs (my secret fear for years) - this is sad.
