I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

WHOA ARE YOU ME? That's practically my head cannon word for word!

Everyone is only loosely based off Soul Eater characters, there's no exact comparisons between them. Like Superboy/M'gann kinda remind me of Black Star and Tsubaki since both kinda have darker backgrounds but worked past that and were kick ass regardless. I imagine Superboy was a clone of superman but they screwed him up and left him as a meister with weapon-esque characteristics so he resonates easier with his weapons. He was raised in Shibusen, just like Black Star. M'gann is a weapon with multiple forms (translation of her shapeshifting abilities from YJ) but it's actually considered a curse in her family so she tries to hide the ability most of the time.
I guess the closest to Stein in the 'verse would be Roy as he is a young graduate of Shibusen who is slowly going mad. Also Jade is totally a spy inside Shibusen and flirts/screws with Roy's mind which is why he's going slightly unstable.

I'd love to write more but I'm sadly filling way too many things right now and I'd feel bad if I overextended myself even further. That and I'm pretty positive this plot bunny would absolutely go out of control BECAUSE THEY ALL DO, IT'S A CONSPIRACY because I love Soul Eater and YJ way too much D:

Yeah, it's kind of a bad crosssover habit of mine to automatically equate each character in one with each character in the other. I know I need to be more creative, but Maria!Black Canary is too awesome to pass up. And your Jade idea is really reminding me a bit of Medusa...she isn't the nurse, by any chance?

Why would they try and clone Superman? Unless he's like a super freak weapon that can kill anything in a five mile radius or something. I love your M'gann idea, though, even though I think that her family being an evil ninja clan or whatever would tie in better with both her backstory and Black*Star's.

Superman is Excalibur? That is, an Excalibur who works exclusively with Death!Batman because only he lives up to his high standards,and his failed clone is not even a weapon. How disappointing.
