Prompt Post - Part Ten
I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

Much like the plane crash into the twin towers, the image was broadcast over and over again on news networks. It was ingrained into everyone's mind.
Superman's death scared everyone.
Superboy was so shocked, but he looked. After all, Superman couldn't be dead, could he?
And it turned out that in a sense, Superboy was right. Superman had been revived, and Conner found him.
After hearing how Superboy protected the city and looked for him after his demise, Superman smiled and began to bond with him.
II.
Talia walked up to see what members of the League of Shadows had done. She gasped as she saw the broken body of Robin, blood trickling out of his mouth.
That would not do. If Bruce became Batman after the death of his parents, what would the death of his son do? And Talia knew there was no way Bruce would give Ra's a son after they took his.
Ra's al Ghul listened to his daughter, and agreed with her reasoning. Maybe giving Batman his son back would make him more agreeable.
Either way, they took him to the Lazerus Pit to be fully healed, and he came back perfectly fine.

"M'gann!" Conner cried out as he saw her be dissolved by an Omega Beam. An Omega Beam that he was too late to stop. Tears began to stream down his face as he looked at Darkseid.
Darkseid just laughed, and said, "As Superman's breatheren, I think I will torture you some more." Then Darkseid brought M'gann back to life (it was called Omega Sanction, Robin later explained). This time, Conner prevented her death.

Kaldur had been harponed due to some sort of sick irony.
Black Manta frowned. He had the resources, he could easily bring his son back; and bring his son back he did.
V
When Batman died, Wonder Woman lead an expedition to the afterlife to bring him back as Talia arranged for him to be taken to the Lazerus Pit. To this day, Robin is not sure which path revived Batman, or if both suceeded.

He looked at his hands; they now held the cowl of a dead fellow speedster. Not just any dead speedster, but his partner, his mentor, his uncle, and his hero. Wally ended up putting on his Flash costume, telling everyone that he was just filling in for his uncle. That Barry would be back soon, don't you worry.
It took an evil speedster pretending to be his uncle for Wally to realize that while the others were lucky, his uncle was never coming back.
The old Flash is dead, long live the Flash.
