Prompt Post - Part Ten

Mar 11, 2012 17:03

I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

If there is anything I haven't responded to, as of now, I'm ( Read more... )

This was definitely worth the wait ^^ I was so excited to see this set of circumstances happen and what do you know, it's been written :)

Loving Wally and Barry's banters. Wally is ever the rebellious teenager and Barry is the adult who finds his child's behavior humurous. It's always fun to read them acting just like father and son.

I got so nervous when Wally was hit against the wall in the first battle and my heart almost stopped when the rubble fell on top of Wally. I almost thought he was going to be in a life-or-death situation. So glad that it was only his collar bone. Sure, it must've hurt like hell, but at least he wasn't put in intensive care or anything. It seems that in this continuation, Wally doesn't have his Hyper Accelerated Healing and so it will still take a while for injuries to heal. If his body had that healing ability, then the jagged bones would heal themselves in the way it was now, which means that someone would've had to rebreak it so that they could get in back into place.

You go, Barry! Way to keep your cool...well, for the most part. I don't think the police would've batted an eyelash if Cold had a broken nose or a black eye; they would blame it on the fighting involved to capture the villain XD And, aww, poor medics. They should be very careful with Baby Flash because Daddy!Flash does not take seeing his baby boy in pain very well.

And, lol at the last line. Well, at least no one called him Speedy this time XD

Another amazing addition, as always (ooh, alliteration!). Definitely made my night a lot better. It even helped me finish my homework faster. Oh, incentive, how I love thee XD Can't wait for more :)

super glad that you liked it! this part was a lot of fun to write because of the banter. and I hope I made Wally sound teenagery but not too teenagery?

And yeah, I think maybe Wally has some accelerated healing just not as fast as Barry's would have been. Yes, I remember someone telling me about how they broke their collar bone and how the medics had to set it again and how much it hurt... so I was like what the hell let's make Wally cry over this!

For the sake of raising his Baby!Flash well, Barry will reign in his Daddy!Flash instincts.

I liked that last line too. :D

Ah-ha! I knew my fics were good for something! But, I don't know when I'll have the next part up and ready. Partly because i gots lots of stuff due this week and other partly because I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this next one... But... I'll figure it out. hopefully. But I'll aim for the end of the weekend. :D

I think that Wally was the perfect level of teenagery :)

He probably has a faster healing than regular people but not as much as he had in the comics. Oh, why is it so easy to torture Wally so? Wally!Whump is probably my favorite type of stories to read, even though I feel so guilty of that fact.

Barry can't go against his Daddy!Flash instincts :D

Wally's indignation is always a classic moment :)

That's alright. I don't mind the wait all that much. Besides, I have homework stuff due this week as well. Especially that essay...*shivers*
