Prompt Post - Part Ten
I am REALLY, REALLY SORRY about taking so long, guys, and about not being around much recently. I've been busier than I have in a while, and it just kept slipping my mind between uni applications and volunteering and all sorts- for some reason I thought we were much further off a new post.

Barry made me laugh at how anxious and excited he was to meet Wally. I can totally see Barry buy Wally tons and tons of Flash toys, which in the end make Wally become the biggest Flash fan in the world with stories of his adventures included, which would sometimes be a bit exaggerated. And Iris would be so amused at Barry advertising himself as the world's greatest hero to Wally.
Phew. I was kind of afraid I'd have to see Rudy. I know he's nice in this continuation, but I can't get comic canon out of my head. Mary's comment on how Barry was treating Wally like he was his kid made me so happy at the prospect of it and Iris's response made me laugh sort of deviously.
Stupid Clown! How could you do that to Wally? Can't you tell that he's afraid of clowns (who are pretty scary when they're up close). Love how Barry's parental instincts kicked in. I almost thought that he would punch the clown in the face, but he managed to reel in that rage. And, yes, Iris wasn't going to take in that clown's behavior either.
That last bit with the ice cream was a nice touch. Especially when Wally offered Barry some in gratitude. Wally's just so adorable, no matter what age he is ^^
I'm really loving what you're doing with the prompt. You've made me so happy and giddy right now. I usually get this hyper when I eat too much sugar, but this was enough to hype me up. I can't wait to see what you come up with next :D

I feel like Barry loves kids to bits and pieces. I'd always imagine him feeling how I feel like around adorable kids. you just want to spoil them until they smile at you and just hug and squeeze them without breaking them.
I know. To be honest I don't even know what to do about Rudy. I haven't really planned for him to be in any of the other parts since the whole point is to have Daddy!Flash and Daddy!Flash can't do his job if actual father is there. So...
I'm really glad that you liked it! ^^ I should have the next part up by the end of the night in fact. So stay tuned!

I think you managed to capture Barry's character nicely. I don't really know much about Barry other than some little tidbits, but from what I know, he really cares for other people. He kind of reminded me of Wally from JL and JLU and his love for children. That's always a nice trait to have :)
I kind of feel bad for saying that I'm glad about that, but every time I hear his name, my temper boils. I've read so many stories about him and read some of the Flash comics, and see that he's not exactly good father material. I mean, he collaborated with evil aliens and gave his young adult son to the enemy and then decked him in the face right after. He even tried to kill his wife in the comics.
Really? That's so great! I can't wait to read it :D

Oh my gosh! Really? I knew Rudy was slightly/actually abusive to Wally but I never really knew the extent of it. Now I don't like Rudy either. Daddy!Flash it is!
