“So where’s Sunbird and Kestrel? They were supposed to meet us here!” Artemis said cheerfully.

“And what about Black Canary and Huntress?” M’gann asked, looking around. “I thought your whole team was going to be here.”

“Sunbird and Kestrel cancelled on us,” Oracle said, looking down at the layers of glamour that disguised her wheelchair was a regular chair. “Something about diamond smugglers.”

“And Black Canary and Huntress are keepin’ an eye on the Nest or whatever we’ve decided to call HQ,” Lady Blackhawk said, smiling.

Artemis sighed dramatically. “And with the Titans off in Spain for the weekend, I guess that means that all of us are here. I’ll have a Cherry Coke,” she shot at the waitress, who nodded and place Donna, Starfire, and Lady Blackhawk’s drinks in front of them.

“Root beer please,” M’gann piped, beaming. The girl nodded, clearly trying not to stare, shuffled away, and set to work.

“Remind me why we can’t drink again?” Lady Blackhawk grumbled, eying her Coca-Cola suspiciously.

“Most of us would require an ID,” Oracle said simply.

“And you and Zatanna are too young to drink,” Artemis said, grinning broadly.

“Shut up,” Zatanna said, stirring her Sierra Mist.

“And so I declare this meeting of Young Females of the Justice League officially convened,” Lady Blackhawk chimed in, smirking.

“We already were convened,” Ravager said, stirring her Pepsi with a scowl on her face.

“But it wasn’t official yet,” Artemis told her sixteen year old friend. “So how’ve Red Arrow and Blue Jay been treating you?”

“Fine,” Ravager said, grabbing a French fry from the plateful that sat in the middle of the table and chewing on it with as much adorable fury as she could manage it. “Red Arrow’s never around though. Always running around, sayin’ he’s not on the team, chasing his kid all over the place, and making out with Cheshire when he thinks we’re not looking.”

Artemis made an odd face at that. “Does he really?”

“He does,” Donna said, sighing dramatically. “The best bit is that he honestly seems to think we don’t know, even though he’s less subtle than Blue Jay.”

Blackhawk snorted. “And that’s saying something.”

Oracle nodded, her face slightly wistful as she recalled the days when she’d flown with the Flock.

“So have you guys even named your team?” Artemis asked, keeping her voice low.

“Not yet,” Donna said, shaking her head.

“I know Red Robin’s been calling you guys the Outsiders,” Zatanna said, leaning forward.

“Outsiders, huh?” Donna said thoughtfully, sipping her drink. “I kind of like it! What do you think Ravager?”

“Still like Outlaws better,” the teen said. “But that sounds okay. I guess.”

“Kori?” Troia asked, leaning back in her chair to look at the red-head.

“I believe that the name is suitable,” Kori said, smiling as she dipped the French fry in mustard, ignorant of the gagging faces that Oracle and Artemis were exchanging across the table at her condiment choices. “Of course, we will have to check with Green Lantern and Blue Jay.”

“Oh yeah, I almost forgot!” Artemis said, leaning forward. “How’re you and Kyle?”

Donna looked away, frowning. “We broke up two months ago.”
