The Sinkhole

It had been a long, tiring day. Battling mole-people was not for the weak of will. But they had emerged from their fight victorious, and as such they were allowed to return to their command center for a well-earned rest. All was well in the lives of the heroes of Young Justice except….
“Dude, there’s a giant hole in the middle of the living room.”
“I haven’t noticed.”
“But I mean…there’s a giant hole in the middle of our living room. We’ve got to, like do something.”
“About what?”, said Aqualad, entering the living room where to two younger members of the team were. Robin had somehow gotten a couch up against the wall, and was sprawled across it, while KF was looking into the sink hole that had consumed the TV, the coffee table, and their other two couches.
“The giant sinkhole! Am I honestly the only one who has noticed this? We’ve got to fill it up or something.”, the speedster said, gesturing wildly.
“No, we don’t.” replied Robin, not sifting from his position on the couch. “The League said they would take care of repairs. That means ALL repairs. If we take care of this one, they’ll take that as proof that we don’t need help, and we’ll be stuck fixing Mt. J whenever something breaks. Every. Single. Time.”
“But-“
“Every. Single. Time. I mean it Wally. Every single time. No matter how mundane. Every. Single. Time.” The Boy Wonder’s voice booked no argument.
Aqualad paced the hole. The TV remained intact at the bottom. No doubt it would impede team functions while it remained there.
“Despite my best attempts not to... I kinda wanna fill this.”, said the team leader.
“What?!?”, he exclaimed when Robin shot him a furious glance. “I think it would be in the teams’ best interest for us to take care of this potential health hazard as quickly as possible!”
“…you just don’t want to miss movie night, do you?”
