WriterAnon: Um, just note that there is major Batman-level invasion of privacy going on. But since it's Batman, I guess I don't really have to warn you about it. And there is an allusion to the intro of Young Justice, cause that holo set-up has to be real somewhere in the universe.

And this was supposed to be a drabbly minifill….

The Mentor Club (No Stupid Supermen Allowed)

Today was the day.

Green Arrow walked into the conference room, whistling loud and clear as he caught sight of the holographic images displayed above the table. "I know you're a paranoid guy, but this--"

"Is exactly what is needed." Batman stood at the back of the room, even the light that flooded the room didn't serve to pull him out of what seemed to be a perpetual shadow. "Now just sit down and focus."

Flash leaned back in his chair, enjoying the cushioning from the moan that issued from him, repeated the order to him. "Just sit down, Arrow Senior. The comfy League chairs are at the top of my Love-list this week. I swear I've been running non-stop for days, and let me tell you, I'm no Supe--"

A green, hand-like construct wrapped itself around Flash's mouth in an instant, silencing him before he could finish speaking. Green Lantern frowned and indicated the room at large with a jerk of his head, "We can't mention the big guy's name, remember? For all the sound-proofing Bats put in place," Batman nodded crisply, returning to working at a keyboard stationed at his seat, "any little leak could bring this whole club-thing crashing down on us, remember? We don't need someone like him around right now." Black Canary nodded sharply in agreement, crossing her arms in displeasure.

"The way he's acting, he doesn't deserve to know one bit."

"Mmhhmm." Flash responded, trying subtly to wedge himself out of the green energy that bound him, his movements, though aided by his speed, were obviously showing signs of the speedster being exhausted. Green Lantern sighed, letting go, and Flash took deep breaths before posing a question,

"I get that, but why're you here? Mentors-only, right?" Green Lantern smirked, a look that set many an instinct into full-gear survival mode. "Bats convinced me to give them a go at learning how to fight flexible supers," he wriggled his eyebrows, but at this point Lantern's smirk toned down several levels, "though he made it sound like he was trying to get me to train my own assassins, but you know how he goes." It was somewhat tradition to talk about Batman as if he wasn't in the room, when he obviously was, until the man himself spoke up and delivered a verbal smackdown as he was wont to do. This wasn't the case yet, and in the silence that came from a busy Bat, the League members talked amongst themselves, taking care to avoid speaking the word that would end the little party.

The core of the Justice League was largely assembled, it being a scheduled meet-up to discuss the developments of Young Justice. It was the first meeting of its kind and all relevant members involved in what was truncated to "YJ" were called to attend with the utmost discretion. Given the nature of the missions YJ embarked on, and the ever increasing suspicion that Cadmus was more than they'd thought, it was decided to keep talk about it quiet and separated from normal JL affairs.

Green Arrow started a slow clap, not at all mocking, as he moved to sit at the table. "You've really pulled out all the stops, Batsy. Now, you said you had things on Spee--Red Arrow?" It was largely acknowledged, although left unspoken, that though Speedy had left Arrow to become a solo hero, he still maintained contact with the group of youth and was considered more than just the occasional ally. Green Arrow, though good at faking his good moods, brightened at the cause for the invitation, appreciating that, even though he didn't mention it to the others.

Batman nodded, waving a hand to the multiple images raised above the table level.

"I have training videos up, pre- and post-formation physical stats, and mission reports that were filed within the last week. Camera-sightings of Red Arrow and his own, independent reports have also been compiled and logged into the archive. Anything else, I can bring up on the screens on request."
