The YJ team ends up doused with a kind of anti-fear gas that makes them not afraid of anything. All of them lose their inhibitions towards their own safety, and start acting differently/more aggressively.

Except Wally, who's acting exactly the same as before.

Cue angst after everyone's "better" as Wally tries to play it off as his body metabolizing the drug differently (maybe a blood test proves he's lying?) and the team realizes that, when it comes to his own personal safety, Wally just really doesn't give a damn.

That's kinda perfect! D8 Because now that I think about it, subjecting yourself to under the table superspeed experimentation kind of qualifies as "life-risking behavior".

Okay so there have been a couple prompts (though I can't find them) about Wally not really caring about getting hurt because, what does it matter with his speed healing anyway, right?

And then there's this prompt - http://yj-anon-meme.livejournal.com/3983.html?thread=7586959#t7586959 - about Wally being pretty tough skinned/redirecting anger because of his dad abusing him.

And they both want to collide inside my head for a pretty messed up Wally who gets found out by the team because of an anti-fear gas encounter.

Maybe?

I'm the OP of the anti-fear one, and I have to say that I kind of approve of this.

Though I really was hoping for gen/friendshipping rather than any romantic!shipping, so.... I'M SO SORRY!

I'm cool with anything you want to do with this anon.

Don't apologize! No shipping so far in the vague mental outline.

I think it will take a while to iron out all the plot seams but this is on my to do list.

Thank you. I know it's a little odd, asking for not much (if any) shipping on this kind of meme... But for some reason I really love fics that are friendshippy a bit more...

(I love shipping fics too! Really! But I have personal reasons against them for certain prompts as well)

The shipping that I've done on this meme is really random. I have one that by the end should at least tease at every possible combination available and I did one that was Kaldur/Richie(Gear from Static Shock) and one that had a touch of dysfunctional Spitfire but even when I do pairings I like the friends/family vibe so much. So long way of saying I completely understand.
