If anyone ever gets the idea that they want to buy a house: just say no. That's my advice. It is hell. Especially in the summer.
We found a condo that we were completely set to buy (2 bed, 1 bath totally completely brand new, we would get to choose the way it looked completely because it's being renovated now). So this morning I checked the crime stats on the house because there was a manacing-looking alley and what looked to be a total ghetto behind the backyard. The results were extremely fightening and we've since backed out of the deal in the interest of not getting raped, murdered, and stolen from. There's a two story condo that I loooove on Wilmot that's not really on the market. So everyone cross their fingers that the buyer's loan won't come thru and we can put an offer down.
Besides the house bullshiz... me and courtney made shirts for lolie's (and other's) graduation that said Just Between Us on them. It was a fun night. I got to see Shannon, cara, and jade all in this night and my head was about to explode from all the excitement.
OH. MY. GOD. Francis' dreads are gone. they're gone. His family gathered around in our kitchen as each was sadly snipped off. I can't recognize him anymore! i keep looking at him and recognizing his gestures and his speech but I'm having difficulty relating them to the Francis without hair. He looks good though, he still has about an inch or so of length and it's pretty curly. I put all the dreads in a shoe box and labeled it "Francis."
