⇢ AU. luhan isn't a jealous person unless it has something to do with sehun.
⇢ Imagine your OTP going for a walk and suddenly Person A’s ex/special friend strikes a conversation with them. Person B is jealous and stays quiet most of the time. Person A notices this and kindly tells ex/special friend they have to go. Person A then kisses Person B lovingly and tell them that they’re the best thing that happened (or something like that).

luhan isn’t a jealous person. he didn’t get jealous when his older brother got all the attention from his parents, he didn’t get jealous when his friends all had a boyfriend but him. but right now, he couldn’t help but feel the angry burn bright in the pit of his stomach.
“no way, yixing decided to join the dance club again?” sehun exclaims and pushes jongin lightly by the shoulder. “didn’t he say he was ‘too injured to dance anymore so stop bugging me’?” sehun says while doing air quotations to emphasize his statement.
“not after i convinced him otherwise,” jongin chuckles with his smirk prominent on his face. oh, how badly did luhan want to punch that face of his.
sehun and luhan had decided to take a walk in the park with their puppy when jongin, who just so happened to be jogging in that park, decided to join the couple. it was alright at first. the three conversed about the weather, school and mutual friends then it drifted off towards subjects that had nothing to do with luhan. dance club, krystal’s - who the hell was krystal? - new boyfriend, jongin’s parents going on a new business trip and jongin having to take care of his nephew so he can’t party. how the heck was luhan supposed to join in on conversations like that? luhan didn’t know anything about jongin besides the fact that he used to date sehun.
luhan lets out a deep sigh and their puppy nudges his calf as if it were trying to comfort that him. he bends over to pet the said puppy and laughs when it licks his fingers.
“you’re so cute,” luhan says and continues to pet their adorable puppy. he feels an arm wrap around his waist and sehun breathes ‘you’re cuter” against his ears. the tips of luhan’s ears turn red and he pushes sehun away, causing the younger to land on his butt.
“shush,” luhan pouts and tickles the puppy’s chin. “where did jongin go?”
“i told him to leave,” sehun says with a smile and pulls luhan down so he was sitting in between his legs. “you looked a little green so i told him to go home to yixing.”
“yixing?” luhan exclaims and holy crap, since when did jongin and yixing start dating?
“since two days ago,” sehun says as if he had read luhan’s mind. “if you weren’t so busy sulking just now, you would have heard him saying he physically convinced yixing that he wasn’t too injured to dance.”
“oh god, ew,” luhan says and scrunches his nose with disgust. “yixing’s going to get an ear full from me. why didn’t he tell me he was dating someone?”
“you know, i get super jealous when you talk to yixing,” sehun says as a matter of fact and wraps his arms around luhan’s waist.
“there is no need to be though! yixing and i are just friends,” luhan says with a smile and their puppy decides to pick that moment to jump onto luhan, placing both his front paws on his stomach.
“i know but still,” sehun whines and sticks a finger out and allows the puppy to nip at it affectionately. “you’re the best thing that happened to me and i don’t want to lose you to yixing.”
“you’re too cheesy,” luhan states and gets up from the ground with the puppy in his arms.
“yeah, but you love me,” sehun says before grabbing luhan by the neck and pecks him on the lips.
“i do,” luhan smiles and their little puppy barks.
