Seeking Activities in September in Massachusetts

I'll be visiting Mass in September and will be entertaining two toddlers and a 12 year old during some part of my trip so I'm looking for some things to do. I'm looking for something in the Western Mass area that might be fun for both toddlers and adults and that won't bore the crap out of a 12 year old boy.

Any thoughts? The Farm is on my itinerary, but I would like to have a bunch of options to choose from, if possible.
