More artists/companies/creative beings to check out:
PES. Stop motion extraordinaire. Super awesome. I highly recommend watching the shortfilm "Western Spaghetti". It's pretty darn cool.
Patrick Daughters. This guy's a little more well-known, and I know that I have talked about him before. He has done a lot of pretty neat videos though. They call him the "Michel Gondry of music videos" or some shit like that.
John Park. Photographer. He mostly photographs people, and I respect that. A lot of photographers out there take beautiful captivating photos of landscapes, animals, cityscapes, etc. But how often are they able to take truly striking photos of people? To capture the different emotions and pull in the individual's surroundings, all at once. Like I said, I respect that.
Takashi Murakami. Also more well-known than some of the others I've mentioned. He's a contemporary Japanese artist with a pretty darn distinct style. I couldn't find an official site for him. If you really wanna take a look at his work, I advise you just google his name.
Brian Michael Gossett. One of those graphic designer/illustrator/art director types. His stuff is (for lack of a better word) DOPE! On top of that, his typography gave me an eye-gasm.
There are lots of others out there.
Also, one last thing. Miller showed me the cinematic trailer for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Now, I'm no WoW fanatic or anything, but OH. MY. GOD. Check it out at the official site. Great animation. I was seriously blown away. Shit's flat out impressive.
