I have a friend who had cancer a few years ago. The message came almost right after I had cut my hair and I was so upset that I couldn't donate for her. I made a promise to myself (and I can't remember if I promised her, too) that I would donate as soon as I could get the inches needed to do so.

Dad says he's getting sick and apparently his mother and my uncle Tommy had been sick during Christmas. So the chance of it passing to me is... probably higher than it should be.
