After the rain (locked to Erica)
John had been worried about Erica, but knew there was nothing he could do or say to help her through the grief she was feeling. So he tried to keep things going on the home front, and be there when she found her way back out of it.
He thought it was probably a good thing, when he heard that Hot Lips had shown up and dragged her out. He made sure there was food for the kids, walked the dogs, and generally handled things as he waited for Erica to get home.
