i am writing this sentence instead of sleeping.
long weekends do nothing but mess me up.
while i'm here, let's all point and laugh at how my NY-Rez went all to shit.
also, for the record, it has happened. brown-bag-lunching has become a chore, but unlike my NY-Rez, i force myself to do it anyway. it's easy to force myself because if i don't, i don't eat. simple as that.
also getting in the way of my NY-Rez is the fact that i Tweet now...am i allowed to say that here? well, i do. username retrored...follow me, bishes! i will follow you back. we shall mutually create the illusion of coolerness-than-we-are. we both win.
since i'm here though, i feel obligated to at least comment on my recent real-life-life, as opposed to my cyber life (the day they become one in the same is the day we can all be replaces by robots and toaster ovens).
in summation, recent life has been wonderful. the internship is awesome. i love the job and the people i work with and it looks like i may get to hang around until i get a real (read: paying) job, or at least a paid internship. speaking of money, the eBay business is coming along nicely, though i feel like i'm running out of stuff to sell and i'm too cheap to invest actual money in inventory. i'm over the $2,300 mark now, which doesn't seem like real money since it only exists in PayPal until i transfer it to my account. and now that i have online banking i literally don't have to leave my computer...ever, really.
i celebrated this milestone by buying myself a cuisinart food processor, which probably sounds like not a big deal but IS a big deal because a) i've been wanting one since high school, b) since i've begun having money i've been incredibly stingy with it. this is really the first thing i've bought. and c) they're actually pretty expensive--upwards of $160 typicaly, but i found one on eBay for $103 with free shipping. still a big splurge for me. i literally can't remember the last time i spent even close to $100 of my own money on a single object.
this may be unprecedented.
