There's been a bit of talk in ucsc about administrators or employers using incriminating LiveJournal entries, Facebook photos, etc., against students. My mom showed me a newspaper article over x-mas break about employers actually searching for prospective employees' blogs and using that information to determine whether or not to hire a person. So much for private personal life, eh? And as for incriminating photos...as stupid as it is that you can get "caught" a long time after the fact, I can see how a photo of someone smoking pot would be enough evidence to force a drug test on that person.

As such, I think I'll be making this LJ friends only pretty soon.
